Melbourne Glamourhead Sharks
| were established in 2001 by a group of swimmers interested in attending the 2002 Gay Games. Since then we have grown into one of Melbourne’s largest Masters Swimming Australia swimmming clubs, competing in local, national and international events and providing an environment for GLBTI swimmers and their friends to participate in competitive and fitness swimming. |
| Glamourheads Mission Statement We are committed to providing a supportive and welcoming environment for members of the GLBTI community to participate in swimming as a means to increasing their fitness, health and wellbeing. We believe in being inclusive of diversity in terms of skills, body type, age, gender, ethnicity and sexuality. We recognise the importance of providing a healthy alternative to “the scene” for social interaction and the active promotion of a positive image of the GLBTI community. |

| Training Times
The Glamourheads train from 6.30pm to 8.00pm every Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Wesley Pool, corner of Punt Road and High Street in Prahran and Sundays from 5:30-7pm at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, Outdoor Pool, 375 Albert Road, Albert Park. The pool is heated to 27o & is considered to be the most versatile pool in the world!
New swimmers are always welcome. Remember, your first three sessions are free! |
