The Victorian Glamourhead Sharks were established in 2001 by a group of swimmers interested in attending the 2002 Gay Games. Our last goal was the Outgames in Montreal 2006.

We are an active group of gay and lesbians interested in fitness, competitive swimming with approximately 80 registered members from a diverse range of backgrounds. Swimming training sessions are conducted twice a week. Our training bases are at Wesley College (see calendar for training times and venues).

We are non-profit organisation that understands the benefits that sport can bring to health and well-being, believe in principles of equality and the importance of participation of all including women and people living with disabilities.

All types of swimmers are welcome to train with the Glamourheads Sharks. It is a requirement that all Glamourheads members who are swimming register with the AUSSI Masters Swimming Association for insurance and competition reasons.

We attend local and interstate Masters swimming meets and play water polo in the Vic State League.
